Carl Fred Alberding, Sr.
Carl Fred Alberding Sr., 97, died at 5:15 p. m. Wednesday at Oaks Convalescent Home following an extended illness. He was born April 25, 1882 in Lima, the son of Edward and Mary Alberding. His wife Mary Etta died in 1928.
Mr. Alberding was a moulder for the Nickel Plate Railroad.
Survivors include two sons; Henry C. Alberding of Waynesfield, and Carl Alberding Jr. of Lima; two daughters, Elizabeth Miller and Iona Anderson of Lima; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10:30 p. m. Monday at Siferd Main Street Chapel. Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 p. m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the funeral home.
