Albert B. Bruns



Albert B. Bruns, 84, died at 9:38 p.m. March 18, 2001, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Fort Recovery. On Aug. 20, 1954, he married Ethel Betty Sisson, who survives.

Mr. Bruns had been a painter for General Dynamics. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic CHurch. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. He was an Army veteran of World War II, surviving at Pearl Harbor. Survivors include three nieces, Patricia Thomas, Rebecca Bruns and Frances Bruns.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, LeRoy, Raymond and Walter Bruns; and three sisters, Bernice Maurer; Pauline Doling and Florence Bruns. Services will begin at 11a.m. today at Hogenkamp-Straub Funeral Home. the Rev. J. Norbert Howe will officiate. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery, where military rites will [be performed] by the VFW 1275. Friends may call from 10am until the time of services today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church.
