Bessie Black



Mrs. Eugene (Bessie) Black, 52, died in her home, 849 E. High St, at 8 p. m. Wednesday of heart disease. She had been ill five years. Mrs. Black had lived in this county all of her life.

Surviving are her husband, five sons, her mother, two sisters, one brother, two half-brothers and three grandchildren. The sons are Carl, of 1241 Atlantic-av, Wilbur, of 169 E. Eureka-st; Paul, of 837 E. High-st; Orval and Kenneth, both at home. Her mother is Mrs. Sarah Yant, of 337 Laney-av, and the surviving sisters are Mrs. Luella Wilson, of Lima, and Mrs. Earney Harshman, of Cridersville. Her brother is Oscar Spohn, of Toledo, and the half-brothers are Herbert Yant, of Ottawa, and Abraham Yant, of Lima.

The body will be removed from the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home to the residence Friday morning. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Saturday in the First United Brethren church by the Rev. V. H. Allman pastor. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
