Idabelle Binkley
Idabelle Binkley, 79, died at 2:10 a.m. Oct. 21, 1999, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Washington Township, Hardin County, to Homer and Nellie Matheny Elwood. On Aug. 30, 1944, she married Lester E. Binkley, who survives.
Mrs. Binkley was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lafayette. She was a 1937 graduate of Dola High School.
Survivors also include two daughters, Judy (Larry) Diller of Bluffton and Kathy (George) Schock of Lima; a sister, Mary Wanamaker of Findlay; four grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and a step great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Park Elwood; and a sister, Viona Long.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles & sons-Laman Funeral Homes Bluffton Chapel. The Rev. Arvid Harklau will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Bluffton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
