JOHN BLACK DIES AT ADVANCED AGE

Funeral services in charge of Rev. F. A. Stiles will be held at the family residence at 9:00 Saturday morning over the body of John H. Black, who died at his home, 684 north Jackson street, at 1:40 Thursday afternoon from infirmities due to old age. Interment will be made at Ada.

He was 71 years of age and had been a resident of Lima for 15 years. He was born in Perry county and saw service in the Civil war in Company C, 62nd O. V. I. He is survived by two sons, James and William, both of Lima; six daughters, Mrs. C. A. Davis, Mrs. R. R. Pugh, Mrs. R. O Porter, Mrs. Minnie Bondiker and Mrs. Harry Porter, of this city, and Mrs. J. C. Kawell, of Sandusky and five brothers.
