George Delph, Sr.
George Delph Sr., 55, of 591 Harrison, died at 8:30 a.m., this morning at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov.23, 1923, in Lima, he was the son of Earl C. and Louise Hufmann Delph. He is survived by three sons: George Delph Jr., of 930 Brice, James C., of 320 S. Scott, and Brian N., of 315 N. Collett; two daughters, Mrs. William (Rebecca) Young of 591 Harrison and Janice L. Delph of 315 N. Collett; a brother Earl C. of 680 Calumet; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Delph worked at Meadow Gold Dairies for 26 years, and was a veteran of the Marine Corps. in World War II.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Siferd Westwood Chapel. Rev. Mark Burden officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
