Mary Joanna Ackerman Contris Good

Mary Joanna Ackerman Contris Good, 80, of Pineville, La., formerly of Lafayette, died Nov. 6, 2008, at the Oaks Nursing Home in Pineville.

She was born July 7, 1928, in Lafayette to Erna and Rosa Fisher Ackerman, who preceded her in death. In 1945, she married Charles Contris, who preceded her in death. She then married Earl Good, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Good was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a brother, Leonard Ackerman, of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Ernest and Leslie.

There will be no services as the body has been cremated.

Arrangements are by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Alexandria, La.
