Virginia "Ginny" Gesler
Virginia (Ginny) Gesler, 68, of Lima died at 1:00 p.m. at her residence after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 21, 1922 , in Lima, the daughter of Cary F. and Nora Chambers Shepherd. On May 29, 1941 she married Leroy (Punch) Gesler who survives.
Mrs. Gesler was a former nurse in the offices of Drs. Talbot and Noble, and Dr. J C. Chung. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lima.
Survivors include a son, Dennis L. Gesler of Lima; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Nancy) Bowerman, of Lima, Ms. Melinda (Mindy) Barhorst of Botkins, and Mrs. David (Mickey) Hoffer, of Angola, IN; eight grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Betty Farler, of Lima.
Services will be at 1:00 p. m. at The First Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Jerry Hall officiating. Burial will be in Bluelick Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home Health Department of Lima Memorial Hospital
