Dorothy R. Lyons
Dorothy R. Lyons, 45, died at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital following an extended illness
She was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Belzoni, Miss., the daughter of Eddie Collins and Ruby Barksdale Johnson. Her mother, Ruby McDale, survives in Lima. She married Thomas Lyons, who also survives
Mrs. Lyons was a surgical technician at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Survivors also include two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Cyntha R.) Guice and Brigette A. Lyons, both of Lima; four grandchildren; and a sister, Queenie Mae Gaddy of Lima.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Christ Temple, 511 E. Second St., Elder Charles L. Reid Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Jones Brothers Mortuary Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
