Alice McMullen
Alice McMullen, 80, formerly of 711 Madison, died Sunday noon in the Oaks Convalescent Home. Born June 18, 1895 in Athens, She was the daughter of George and Anna Mitchell. Her husband, Harold C., died in 1970. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Blue Star Mothers and the Knights of Pythias Lodge. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs., Helen Shepherd of Galion, Mrs., Dorothy Conley of 711 Richie, Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Bartlett of Madison, Wisc., and Mrs. Dwight (Jean) Long of Clearwater, Fla.; three sons, Jack of Ashland, Sterling of 711 Madison and Russell of Washington, Mich.; 22 grandchildren, 33 great-great grandchildren and 3 great-great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
