Bernadine M. Mansfield
Bernadine M. Mansfield, 72, died at 7:04 a.m. Oct. 21, 1999, at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1927, in Ottawa Township, Putnam County, to Joseph and Anna Birkemeier Michel. On Oct. 9, 1952, she married Leonarde "Jack" Mansfield, who died Feb. 21, 1994.
Mrs. Mansfield retired in 1989 from Philips Display Component, Ottawa, after 40 years and was a member of its Quarter Century Club. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Glandorf, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Ronald) Karhoff of Glandorf; a brother, Albert Michel of Ottawa; four sisters, Esther Pohlman of Delphos, Helen Siefer of Columbus Grove, Julie Sheffel of Findlay and Phyllis Riley of Defiance; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Three sisters, Lucille Geckle; Genevieve Brinkman and Mildred Schreiber.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The Rev. Harold Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a Scripture service will be held at 3 p.m. and an altar rosary service at 7 p.m., and noon until time of services Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
