Betty Musser
Betty Musser, 83, died at 8:58 p.m. July 11, 2008, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Lima to Lloyd M. and Gertrude M. Cross Stauffer, who preceded her in death. On July 26, 1956, she married David W. Musser, who died Aug. 16, 2006.
Mrs. Musser had worked at DWG Cigar Factory and then at Kathy's Pet Grooming She was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 bowling, drill and ritual teams. She thoroughly enjoyed her Las Vegas trips and nickel slots.
Survivors include five daughters, Sondra (Roger) Courtney, of Lima, Janet (Ralph) Roller, of Lima, Kathy (Ronald) Hershberger, of Bluffton, Donna Walters, of Cridersville, and Jeanne Molenkamp, of Grand Haven, Mich.; and 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother and a son-in-law, Neal Walters.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel. Pastor Jerry Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Desenberg Cemetery, in Jackson Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
