Carl L. Moses

Carl Moses, 78, of 327 S. Scott, died 2:45 p.m. Friday at the Oaks Convalescent Center following a two-year illness.

Born Oct. 4, 1891, in Decatur, Ind., he was the son of L. C. and Susan Byrd Moses.

He was a former telegrapher for the B & O Railroad, retiring in 1956.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Mildred) Nungester of 523 Ohio, and Mrs. Marguerite Verbryke of Fort Wayne.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chiles and Sons-Laman West Wayne Street Chapel. Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
