Delbert Lee Richey



Delbert Lee Richey, 78, of 2645 Harding Highway died at 12:50 a.m. today at Oaks Convalescent Center

He was born May 12, 1905, in Brown County, the son of Leon and Grace Demarias Richey. On May 5, 1949, he married Ruth T. Krautter, who survives.

Mr. Richey was owner of Richey Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the Lima Noon Sertoma and a life member of Sertoma International. He was a charter member of Lost Creek Country Club and a member of Free and Accepted Masons 706 and Antioch Shrine, Valley of Dayton.

Survivors also include two sons, Jim Richey of San Francisco, Calif., and Don Richey of Lima; a stepson, Tom Triplehorn of Gardendale, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Jean) Palmer of Los Altos Hills, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Terry (Susan) Roberts of Lima; five grandchildren; a brother, Vern Richey of Texas; and a sister, Mrs. Ford (Geneva) Bailey of Dayton.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Memorial Chapel of Chiles and Sons-Layman, Rev. William Zeller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
