Leonard C. Shepherd
Services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday at Wayne Street Chapel Chiles and Sons-Laman for Leonard Shepherd 62, of 612 N. Metcalf St. He died at 12:16 p. m. Saturday at St. Rita's Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born April 20, 1921, Celina, the son of Charles and Mary Lou Herron Shepherd.
On March 25, 1944 he married Betty Jean Wallace, who survives.
Mr. Shepherd was retired from Better Home Conditioning in Lima in 1975.
Survivors also include three sons: Carl Shepherd, David Shepherd, and Bill Shepherd, all of Lima; four daughters, Mrs. Joe (Donna) Gilroy of Waynesfield and Gladys Shepherd at home; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roy Brock of Lima and Eugene Shepherd, of Alabama.
Rev. James Neighbors will officiate for the services . Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at funeral home until 4 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. today.
